Hello, my name is Rob Gioia and I am a passionate Software Engineer.

I have over 3 years of professional development experience as a Mobile App Developer using Unity with C#. I currently work for the Topps Company, developing card trader apps based on high end intellectual property like Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, and MLB. Prior to this I worked at Jump Ramp Games developing the Lucktastic App, a free to play scratcher application with over 10 million installs. Prior to my position as a Mobile App Developer, I worked as a Virtual Reality Game Developer at NJIT where I also obtained my B.S. degree in Information Technology, with a specialization in Game Development. I developed 6 VR games at my job for 1.5 years while pursuing my degree.

In my spare time, I make online tutorial courses on Udemy that teach programming to students. I have over 4,000 students. My latest course is a 25 hour C# masterclass. I have a total of 14 Udemy courses spanning Game Development, Web Development, Information Technology and Computer Programming.

I am constantly looking to push my skills with the latest technologies and workflows. I am currently studying backend programming in my spare time using Python with Flask, reading Game Engine Architecture to learn how to write game engines using C++, and working on creating my next Udemy tutorial course.
